This is the very latest HQ-DNR-1 Bullet camera new for 2010. It has been designed and built for us by the same manufacturers who build our HQ1 and HQ2 bullet cameras.

This camera uses the high quality Sony 550tvl SuperHADII sensor that gives the best low light performance and colour reproduction but what makes this bullet camera unique is the new DNR DSP (digital noise reduction digital signal processor) that sits just behind the imaging sensor.

This DSP allows the user to control a wide range of settings from white balance to brightness and contrast. This is the first bullet camera in the world to include a built-in joystick for controlling the built in on screen display.

By simply pressing in on the joystick an on screen menu will display all the settings available. You will have full control of exposure, sharpness and back light compensation.

Unlike any other bullet camera on the market, the HQ-DNR-1 can be fine tuned to give a superior image in any environment. It has always been a problem in the past trying to get a bullet camera with a wide angled lens to work well in a car. Any other standard bullet camera will set itself to the dark interior of the car and over-expose the outside. With the HQ-DNR-1 you can manually adjust the brightness and BLC to overcome this problem so now you can get that shot from the rear of the car looking forward without any over exposure at all.

Like the HQ1 and HQ2 bullet cameras, the HQ-DNR-1 uses standard board level lenses produced by Canon and it can also be fitted with ND lens filters for filming in extremely sunny environments.

The camera is fully waterproof down to 3m and is fitted with the same waterproof connector system used on the HQ1 and HQ2 cameras.

From the rear of the camera is 12 inches of cable and then a W/P connector. From here you can have 1m, 2m, 5m, or 10m extension cables in any combination up to 60m without any loss in video quality. Each camera is supplied with a composite video output and 2.1mm DC power pigtail connector so it can be used with just about any existing digital video recorder including Racelogic Vbox Lite, HQR2, and the HQR-C2 Twin Camera System.

The dimensions of the camera match the HQ1 exactly and so we can provide a billet ring for bracing the shaft of the camera (recommended for motor sports use).

We have found no other better bullet camera on the market that gives better results for in car filming!
